“Succession Star Slams Farage as ‘Greedy and Self-Centered'”

Date:

Brian Cox, known for his role in Succession, has strongly criticized Nigel Farage, describing him as “greedy and self-centered.”

During an appearance on BBC’s Sunday Morning show with Laura Kuenssberg, Cox expressed his disappointment with Farage’s lack of knowledge. Cox mentioned feeling impressed by how Farage manages to attract people, despite his negative traits.

The Scottish actor, a Golden Globe winner, openly shared his views on Farage’s behavior during the interview, particularly disagreeing with comments about his tax dealings being complex.

Cox stated, “I perceive him as very greedy. He prioritizes himself and lacks adequate knowledge.”

He added, “I am amazed by the number of individuals who fall for his tactics, given his bullying demeanor evident in the interview with Kuenssberg. His approach was persistent and aggressive.”

Expressing concern, Cox emphasized the importance of being part of Europe, especially in light of the situation in Ukraine. He urged for a reconsideration of the country’s stance on European relations.

During the discussion, Farage appeared defensive when questioned about his financial affairs. Kuenssberg highlighted discrepancies, such as the ownership of the house in his Clacton constituency and payments for his work at GB News being directed to his company rather than directly to him.

Farage responded to these points by justifying his entrepreneurial background and business operations, defending his financial arrangements and choice not to disclose personal tax returns.

Despite the scrutiny, Farage remains firm in his position, stating that he has not disclosed his personal tax returns and dismissing the need for such transparency. Records show significant income declared by Farage from his involvement with GB News since becoming a Member of Parliament.
