Sky TV customers are experiencing a wave of channel changes this week as the telecoms and TV company implements a significant revamp on the telly planner. Over 30 services, mainly radio channels like BBC, Capital FM, Heart, and talkSPORT, are being relocated to improve the Electronic Program Guide (EPG) layout. This move aims to streamline navigation and enhance the user experience for accessing desired content.
The transition, which began on May 27th, has already been initiated for Sky Q boxes, as reported by Mirror Online. Numerous radio stations have shifted channel positions, including talkSPORT, Capital FM, Heart, Heart 80s, Radio X, Capital XTRA, and various BBC radio channels. The process is automatic, requiring no manual intervention from customers.
In addition to the channel changes, Sky is offering free movies until May 31 as a gesture of goodwill for recent service disruptions. Customers can access a complimentary Sky Store Buy & Keep movie, such as Bullet Train, Jumanji: The Next Level, Les Misérables, and others. To redeem this offer, Sky Q users can navigate to the Sky Store section on their homepage and select their preferred film for permanent ownership.
As part of the ongoing improvements for Sky TV services, customers are encouraged to explore the new channel lineup and take advantage of the free movie offer to enhance their viewing experience.
