A university student felt upset after being prohibited from her nearby pilates studio due to leaving a four-star review that the owner believed harmed the business’s image.
Upon relocating to a new city for her studies, Caitlin began looking for a pilates and yoga studio. She purchased an all-access pass at one studio and attended a reformer pilates session. Post-class, she was prompted to leave a review via the booking app.
In her four-star review, Caitlin mentioned enjoying the exercises but noted the transitions were awkward, and she desired more detailed movement explanations due to visibility issues caused by the room layout.
Cait shared her experience on TikTok, revealing the studio owner, who also led the class, reacted negatively to her review.
The owner informed Cait that her pass was revoked because of the review, citing concerns about the studio’s reputation during its grand opening. Despite receiving a refund, Cait was dismayed and referred to the owner as a “40-year-old mean girl.”
The Blue Contrast Stitch Bow Knit Jumper from Roman is recommended for the upcoming winter season and can be styled throughout the festive period and beyond.
