The announcement of the foursomes pairings by the captains is scheduled for Thursday evening, with play starting on Friday morning (midday UK time).
DeChambeau expressed his hope that Trump’s presence would motivate them to victory and create a positive atmosphere. Burns, also excited about the opportunity, emphasized the honor of having the President support their team.
Team Europe, aiming to defend their title from the previous tournament in Rome, will be keen to maintain their winning streak. The last Ryder Cup held on American soil in 2021 resulted in a significant victory for Team USA, while Team Europe’s last triumph on US grounds was in 2012.
