Prince Andrew has been mentioned in newly released files related to Jeffrey Epstein in the United States. The Duke of York was identified as a passenger on Epstein’s private jet, along with a reference to Elon Musk potentially visiting the convicted sex offender’s island.
These documents, disclosed by Democrats on the House Oversight Committee, reveal that Prince Andrew traveled on a flight from Teterboro, New Jersey, to Palm Beach in Florida with Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, and two other individuals whose names were redacted. The flight occurred on May 12, 2000.
Previous court testimonies during Maxwell’s trial mentioned Prince Andrew being on Epstein’s private jet, although he strongly denies any misconduct. The individuals associated with Epstein, including Prince Andrew, were not implicated in his criminal activities.
In a separate context, Elon Musk’s name appeared in the documents as a potential visitor to Epstein’s island, Little St James, in 2014. Musk’s name was found in what seemed to be Epstein’s agenda, scheduling a visit by Musk to the island on December 6, 2014.
Furthermore, recent developments include Musk’s public statements regarding President Donald Trump and Epstein, with Musk initially calling for Trump’s impeachment and later removing posts related to the sex offender from his social media. The release of these documents coincides with the emergence of an email from Sarah, Duchess of York, to Epstein, where she apologized for publicly distancing herself from him. The email, which referred to Epstein as a “supreme friend,” was prompted by Epstein’s threat to sue her for defamation.
Epstein, a convicted sex offender, died by suicide in his Manhattan jail cell in August 2019 while awaiting trial on sex-trafficking charges.
